SUPPLIES:
Grumbacher Academy Acrylic Tube Paints
bring all paints listed & any brushes you have.

paints I suggest: ( Colors are your choice.)
I used: thalo yellow green, deep violet, white, thalo
blue, cadmium yellow medium, black
Fabric painting medium ( 2 oz )

I used a tote bag. Canvas, natural color. 13 1/2"x 13 1/2"

White would work too.
I cut a piece of cardboard with the lower corners cut points off.
Insert it into tote then taped it firmly but not stretching.
If using a tshirt or sweatshirt you need to wash it 1st and do not use fabric softner. Put it onto a shirt board or a piece of cardboard with a plastic bag on it between the shirt and cardboard. pin or tape it on firmly but don't stretch it out.
Additional suggested items:
--Strathmore Acrylic Palette paper pad (yellow)
--set of tall, white, bristle brushes in plastic tube. contains 20 brushes & a canvas brush holder.
- A small (metal or plastic) bent palette knife.
--A good, thin liner brush AND other brushes you have, flats, rakes, angles, rounds etc. A large filbert-aprox 3/4" wide.
--Graphite paper (white & black), stylus, tape & ruler.
If graphite paper is new, wipe off black side really well with tissues or paper towel before class.
--paper towels !!!

You can bring your own design or picture of a butterfly if you wish. Just make sure its large enough to fit your fabric.
